Want to visit a fellow model railroader and operate your engines on his layout?
Frustrated and worried that the frequent installation and removal of your Big Boy or other engine
in and out of its styrofoam packing will damage the fragile detail? Want to take your live steamer
to meets without hassle or dammage? Consider the new Universal Carrying Case (UCC) from
Kern Valley Railway.
Rigidly constructed of tough ABS Polycarbonate plastic, the UCC will hold the
largest engine in G scale-57"- but weighs only seven pounds when empty. A retractable shelf slides out for the easy placement
of the engine on its base. The shelf slides into the interior of the case after the infinately adjustable 'Velcro'
restraints are placed around the engine. Adjustable foam blocks safely hold the rolling stock softly and solidly in place
while the UCC is being transported. The case also comes with a locking door with key for security.
